Power Plant Boiler Operator

* Maintains, records and e-mails daily reports for power plant safety, environmental and boiler production
* Maintains and publishes data entry reports on Capstone
* Operates and makes rounds to check air compressors, all PP, PRV, Vent Valves and mill main feeder breakers
* Monitors capstone trending of Boiler
* Monitors and maintains RO system or softeners as needed
* Regenerates all Zeolite filters as needed
* Completes daily water, condensate and effluent testing and reports results
* Completes environmental testing and recording for daily/ monthly NPDES requirements as needed
* Makes appropriate chemical additions to boiler make-up water as needed
* Monitors deep wells, completes rounds and collects and records data as needed
* Operate mobile equipment
* High School Diploma or GED
* Must have active Ohio Boiler Operator’s License
* Experience working in an industrial environment preferred
* Experience working with a gas boiler
* Desire to work in a team based environment
* Ability to safely perform tasks in a fast paced, heavy industrial environment
* Ability to stand, reach, and twist in a heavy industrial environment
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.  climb ladders, walk distances, work at heights on platforms, work in tight or closed spaces
* Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
