Industrial Maintenance Technician - 1st​/2nd Shift

MPS Group, Inc. is seeking multiple Maintenance Technicians to join our team at the Cleveland Cliffs Facility located in Middletown, OH
. These individuals will be responsible for performing routine maintenance activities as well as daily manual labor tasks in an industrial environment, as outlined below.

1st Shift
:
Monday - Sunday, 6:15 a.m.

- 3:30 p.m.

2nd Shift
:
Monday - Sunday, 2:45 p.m.

- 11:00 p.m.

• Services and rebuilds slide gates for the tundishes and ladles in the Caster Department.
• Assembles, installs, and repairs equipment such as springs, guide rails, upper & lower frames, and hydraulic cylinders.
• Demonstrates use of calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, taps, dies, & other basic hand tools.
• Works at heights with confidence and commitment to safety.
• Operates powered industrial truck, scissor lifts, etc.
• Follows company and customer safety protocol, PPE usage, and reporting.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general and technical procedures.
• Consistently adheres to PPE requirements, safety rules, policies, and procedures at customer locations.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including proportions, percentages, area, and volume.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to pass a drug test and physical.

• OSHA 10 Certification.
• Minimum of 1 year using tools in an industrial setting.
• Minimum of 6 months experience welding.
