Machine Operator - Night Shift

Job Summary

Prime Coater Operator (Machine Operator I) is responsible for operating the Prime Coater machine. Duties include setting up the coater, measuring painting parameters (wet film thickness, viscosity, temperature, roll speeds), adjusting the coater per QC Lab Tech directions, performing roll changes, cleaning painting equipment, moving paint drums in and out of the coater room, measuring and documenting paint usage information, and entering data into Oracle.

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• One year of manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools
• 6+ months of experience operating mobile equipment in a manufacturing environment (preferred)

• Basic computer skills
• Time management – prioritizing work to meet internal and/or external customer demands
• Detail oriented – ensures accuracy of product and documentation to meet internal and/or external customer demands
• Good communication skills
• Mobile equipment operations skills
