Job Summary

Now Hiring:
Process Set-Up Technician (Direct Hire)

Location:

Middletown, OH Pay Rate: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour Night Shift: 10:45 PM-7:15 AM Monday-Friday

Job Duties
  • Perform mold changes on plastic injection molding machines to prepare equipment for production.
  • Set up and configure injection molding machines for optimal performance and product quality.
  • Connect and verify water, air, hydraulic, and auxiliary systems during machine setup.
  • Start production runs and adjust machine settings to ensure parts meet quality specifications.
  • Troubleshoot process issues and conduct machine parameter adjustments as needed.
  • Inspect molded parts for quality, consistency, and compliance with production standards.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Maintenance teams to resolve equipment or production issues.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to machine operators.
  • Complete setup documentation, production records, and process reports accurately.
  • Follow all safety procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and lean manufacturing practices.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Process Technician, Process Set-Up Technician, Mold Setter, Injection Mold Technician.
  • Hands‑on experience setting up and operating plastic injection molding machines.
  • Knowledge of mold installation, mold changes, and machine startup procedures.
  • Ability to troubleshoot injection molding processes and optimize machine performance.
  • Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, water, and auxiliary equipment connections.
  • Experience performing quality inspections and ensuring products meet specifications.
  • Ability to read work instructions, setup sheets, blueprints, and production documentation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team in a fast‑paced environment.
