Health & Wellness Director:
The HWD is the clinical leader who supports the clinical operations within the branch and works closely with the Director to ensure a thriving environment for residents.

• Full‑time employees are eligible for all medical, dental, vision, and voluntary products.

• Works with caregivers to ensure the principles of assisted living and Bickford’s culture are integrated into all aspects of resident care.
• Develops and participates in the on‑call schedule to support clinical needs after hours.
• Maintains regulatory compliance.
• Communicates proactively and effectively with residents/families to enhance their engagement.
• Oversees and manages the process and employees who administer resident medications, ensuring delivery according to physician orders.
• Coordinates health care services with external providers and physicians to meet resident needs.
• Manages partnerships with local vendors to ensure quality external care providers serve residents.

• RN license.
• Willingness to take additional training or education as required by specific states.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time management competence.
• Good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
