Apartment Maintenance Technician

Overview

Full‑time Apartment (Multifamily) Maintenance Technician.

Required:

HVAC repair, EPA certification and strong plumbing experience.

Schedule: 8:30‑5:30 PM Monday through Friday, on‑call once every 4 weeks ( $100 bonus for on‑call weeks and a minimum of 1.5 hrs paid for call‑outs ).
Compensation: $25‑27 an hour plus a quarterly bonus of up to $750.
Location: Bavarian Woods, 154 Bavarian Street, Middletown.

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority.
• Turn and make units ready in between tenant occupancy.
• Complete repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC.
• Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Perform exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Assist in property grounds maintenance and snow removal as needed.
• Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on‑call system.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in the maintenance field preferred.
• 6+ months experience in apartment maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry.
• Plumbing and electrical required.
• EPA Universal certification and HVAC repair experience required.
• CPO Certification a plus.
• Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers.
• Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties (completed during interview process).
