Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer
Software Engineer – Payment Processing Team
This position is not eligible for sponsorship, including OPT. Candidates must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder. We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our ever‑evolving payment processing team and help us unleash the potential of every business. This position is hybrid 3-days per week in our Cincinnati, OH office. This position is not eligible for remote work.
Responsibilities- Analyze requirements and design robust, scalable, and easily maintainable solutions.
- Develop batch settlement applications that assess pricing, generate settlements, produce reports, and maintain general ledgers.
- Support unit and integration testing with various other systems.
- Demonstrate mastery of multiple programming languages and technologies as required.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver high‑quality documentation, incorporating feedback to continuously improve content and presentation.
- Active participation in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives, to ensure continuous improvement and effective team collaboration.
- Interact with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications.
- Participate in software design meetings to determine technical requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related discipline and 3+ years of experience (or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience).
- Mastery of one or more programming languages and willingness to learn both new and legacy technologies.
- Experience with Agile development principles.
- Experience with end‑to‑end systems development life cycles and standards.
- Proficiency in solution design and requirements definition disciplines.
- Excellent analytical, decision‑making, problem‑solving, teamwork, and time‑management skills.
- Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsiveness to internal and external clients and contacts.
- Bonus: experience with SAS, REXX, assembler, or API.
