The truck driver training program at Classic Carriers is a fantastic opportunity for individuals eager to kickstart their career in truck driving. We are committed to not only building our driver team but also providing you with valuable training.
Program Highlights:
- Join a four to five week truck driving course at Apollo Career Center in Lima, OH to obtain your CDL.
- Tuition is fully covered by Classic Carriers, plus you'll receive a $250 weekly stipend while attending school.
Upon graduation and obtaining your CDL, you'll embark on an approximately eight-week paid driver training course with Classic Carriers. You'll be partnered with a seasoned driver trainer who has been selected by our safety department to guide you through your training road experience. During this training, you'll earn $700 per week.

Earn $700 per week throughout your training period. - Guaranteed driving position after completion, with two competitive pay package options:
- Option #1:
Start at $0.51 CPM with benefits, increasing to $0.58 CPM after six months. - Option #2:
Start at $0.61 CPM without benefits, increasing to $0.68 CPM after six months.

Qualifications for the Driver Training Program:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Good Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required.
- No speeding violations over 15 MPH in the past three years, and no felonies.
- Must reside within a 150-mile radius of Versailles, OH 45380, including cities such as Dayton, Springfield, Cincinnati, Columbus, Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Muncie, Richmond, Findlay, Upper Sandusky, Defiance, Van Wert, Bellefontaine, and Kenton.
