Dedicated Local Position – 70% Drop & Hook – Daily Home Time

Earnings & Extra Pay
We make sure you get paid for every task on your route. Here is how your paycheck stacks up:
- Weekly Pay:
Average around $1,500 gross per week (top runners bring home $1,800+). - Mileage Rate:
Earn up to $0.62 CPM depending on your experience level. - Paid Onboarding:
Full pay during your ride-along route training. - Extra Earning Avenues:
- $37 for trailer unloads
- $20 for every delivery stop
- $20 for completed backhauls
- $25 for pallet restacks
Route, Equipment & Daily Routine
This is a highly efficient local run with minimal physical hassle:
- Home Time:
Home daily with 2 scheduled days off each week. - The Route:
Run steady daily loops through Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky, averaging 200 to 300 miles a day. - Daily Workflow:
Handle 3 to 5 loads consisting of 5 to 7 delivery stops. - The Freight:
Grocery cargo (mostly dry van, with occasional refrigerated loads). - Drop & Hook: 70% of your runs are drop & hook. The remaining 30% are quick unloads using an electric pallet jack.
- The Fleet:
Local slip-seat day cabs, supported by an on-site operations team during your working hours.
Afternoon Schedule
- Start Times:
Dedicated afternoon dispatches starting daily between 11:00 AM and Noon. - The Workday:
Mostly afternoon and evening deliveries. - Availability:
Because grocery demand is constant, shifts include weekends, holidays, and the busy week leading up to major holidays.
What's Required to Apply
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of solo tractor-trailer experience.
- Must live within the Monroe hiring area (zip code 45044) and have your own reliable way to get to the terminal.
- Physical capability to handle light electric pallet jack unloads.
- Clean MVR and background check (strictly not SAP friendly).
