SAP BRIM Functional Consultant
Our client is seeking a highly skilled SAP BRIM Functional Consultant with a focus on FICA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable). This role is central to the Unified Back Office System (UBOS) program, responsible for delivering functional designs, configurations, and post-go-live support within an S/4
HANA environment.
- Design & Configuration:
Deliver functional designs and configurations for BRIM and FICA capabilities, including payments, dunnings, collections, account determinations, and CI/GL integrations. - Solution Coordination:
Support the solution delivery team in coordinating SAP BRIM activities and assisting architects with business partner/contract account setup, correspondence, and event framework updates. - Testing Leadership:
Lead functional testing efforts, review test scripts, validate results, and resolve defects across BRIM/FICA processes. - Data & Migration:
Support data mapping, translation rules, cross-reference maintenance, and open item conversion; contribute to cutover planning and FICA-related migration tasks. - Technical
Collaboration:
Partner with technical teams on enhancements, Business Rule Framework plus (BRF+) rules, correspondence forms, and integrations with external payment providers. - Operational Support:
Provide post-go-live support for FICA processes, monitoring payment interfaces, dunning runs, settlement jobs, and issue resolution. - Documentation:
Fully document all work, including technical/functional designs, diagrams, test plans, and impact analysis reports according to Commission standards. - Compliance:
Ensure FICA configurations align with financial controls, audit requirements, and reporting standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- SAP S/4
HANA:
Experience with at least one full-cycle implementation. - FICA Expertise: 5+ years of experience as a BRIM Functional Analyst (8+ years preferred).
- Process Knowledge:
Strong understanding of payments, dunning, collections, interest, open item management, and CI/GL integration. - Tools:
Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops or similar ALM tools and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of specific SAP BRIM experience.
- SAP
Certifications:
S/4
HANA BRIM certifications (BR230/BR234). - Technical familiarity with BRF+, event framework, and FICA enhancements.
- Experience with ITIL/ITSM practices and methodologies.
- Remote/Onsite Hybrid:
Currently virtual/remote. However, the resource must attend onsite meetings in Middletown, PA, for one week per month. - Onboarding:
Must attend an orientation session onsite in Middletown, PA, to pick up equipment in person. Equipment will not be shipped. - Proximity:
If the resource is within a 3-hour commuting distance, the rate is inclusive of all travel costs. For those outside this range, travel expenses must adhere to federal GSA guidelines. - Emergency Availability:
Resources must be able to reach the Commission work location within 3 hours in case of an emergency. - Post Go-Live:
Must be available for onsite support rotations (1–2 week tours) for six months following the UBOS "Go-Live" date. - Background Checks:
Requires both a Pennsylvania Access to Criminal History (ePATCH) and a National Criminal Check. - Meeting Etiquette:
Use of cameras during virtual meetings is required.
