- Coaching experience at the Middle School level preferred
- Valid R. I. Coaching Certification
- Effective communication skills, oral and written
- Successful interview with Selection Committee
- Must successfully complete a BCI check
- Must complete the RIIL coaches' education program, which includes the NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching course, within one year of hire
- Must attend the Chemical Health Meeting with student/athletes
- Must attend the annual coaches meeting
- At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
