• Knowledge of Common Core Standards.

• All educators hired by Middletown Public Schools must provide Certification of demonstrated Proficiency or Awareness in Science of Reading and Structured Literacy, appropriate to the work assignment.
• Appropriate Rhode Island Certification, Secondary Grades Social Studies Teacher, Grades 6-12.
• Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited college or university.
• 3 years experience.
• MLL endorsement preferred.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
