The Preschool Pre-K Special Educator provides specialized educational services to children with disabilities in an early childhood setting to meet the developmental learning needs of these children. Essential duties include complying with all school board policies and state laws relative to special education or general education classroom operations, maintaining confidentiality of students, employing special educational strategies and techniques during instruction, developing individualized education programs (IEPs), establishing clear objectives for lessons, and performing other duties as assigned by the supervising administrator.
Job Requirements- Qualifications:
Valid R.I. Teaching Certification – Early Childhood Education, Valid R.I. Teaching Certification – Early Childhood Special Education, Master's degree preferred, Documentation of a clear BCI/FBI report, Citizenship, residency or work visa required
