Systems Engineer, Electronics Technician, Electrical Engineering
In this role, you fabricate, update, qualify, and troubleshoot electronic, electro‑mechanical systems including constructing cable and harnesses. To perform these tasks, you will work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform duties. You will work with engineers and customers to resolve technical issues that arise and to qualify systems. You will be responsible for marking up and documenting changes as well as clarifying methods and processes to perform tasks to supply engineer documentation.
Applicants should have experience performing required tasks in similar product environments.
- Fabricate electronic / electro‑mechanical test equipment.
- Fabricate wire cables and harnesses.
- Inspect, test, and perform qualification processes for systems and sub‑assemblies.
- Troubleshoot technical issues to functionality and compliance.
- Manage the accuracy of the technical documentation with engineering team.
- Communicate and work with engineering technical support team and customers to resolve issues related to the system design and functionality.
$26‑47/hour (exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and education).

Required Skills & Experience- Ability to be onsite in Middletown/Newport RI 4-5 days per week.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Prior or existing certifications in IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 and J‑STD‑001 or minimum proven experience working to standards.
- Technical education and training in a relative vocational field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in hydraulic and pneumatic system fabrication a plus!
- Must be able to obtain Secret security clearance.
- Minimum of (3) years manufacturing experience building electro‑mechanical systems, cables, and harnesses.
- Ability to read all relative technical documentation including drawings and wire diagrams.
- Ability to use a variety of precision measuring tools, including digital multimeters, micrometers, calipers, and other similar metrology devices.
- Attention to detail.
