• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive‑communication, voice, and dysphagia assessments for residents.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication, swallowing function, and overall quality of life.
• Perform bedside swallow evaluations, establish safe diet recommendations, and coordinate with dietitians and nurses on feeding plans.
• Provide direct therapy and supervise care activities as clinically appropriate; document progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team rounds and discharge planning; communicate findings and recommendations to families and care partners.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record and ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.

• Active Speech‑Language Pathologist license to practice in Rhode Island or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Experience in acute care and/or long‑term care settings preferred; strong collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work in a nursing home setting, manage a caseload, and adapt therapy to residents with diverse needs.
• Effective communication skills, professional clinical judgment, and ability to document clearly and concisely.
• Eligibility for travel assignments and ability to meet assignment start date and duration.
