Temporary Seasonal Retail Store Associate - Part Time

The Seasonal Peak Associate role is a temporary seasonal position that supports essential store operations such as register support, freight receiving, and product merchandising. The role contributes to a positive customer experience and efficient store operations during peak seasons and new store openings.

• Provide exceptional service and build friendly rapport through the T.R.E.A.T. model.
• Operate a cash register efficiently, handling transactions accurately and assisting customers with inquiries and purchases.
• Promote company‑wide customer initiatives like donations, loyalty programs, and special offers.
• Maintain accurate displays, restock assigned areas, and meet merchandising standards.
• Unload deliveries, organize merchandise, and prepare it for the sales floor.
• Set up and move fixtures safely as needed.
• Collaborate effectively and independently to achieve goals, communicating opportunities for improvement to leadership.
• Understand, support, and implement safety protocols throughout the store.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment through regular cleaning and janitorial tasks.

• Preferred:
  Previous experience in merchandise receiving, handling, and stocking in retail or warehouse settings.
• Requirements:
  Basic math, reading skills, legible handwriting, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Primarily climate‑controlled with minimal safety and health hazards; requires extended periods of moving, standing, and working at varying heights.
• Working conditions vary by store location, including sales area, stockroom/receiving area, and operations/office area, with potential differences in temperature, dust levels, and accessibility.
• Physical demands: frequent use of hand tools, ascending/descending ladders, lifting up to 35 lbs regularly.
