Software Engineer

We are seeking a Test Engineer for the Physical Sciences & Systems business unit located near Newport, Rhode Island.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute test plans for Linux & VxWorks software development, hardware and software integration, and test planning and development.
- Perform testing of both hardware and software systems, isolate failures, and propose solutions.
- Interface with DoD clients to execute formal sell-off test events and integration test periods.
- Work closely with development teams when bugs are identified to track and resolve issues.
- Track and verify requirements.
- An active DoD Secret clearance.
- BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline with 8 years of experience, or an MS in the same field with 5 years of experience.
- Experience executing tests in software environments and documenting test results.
- Experience with test tracking software tools.
- Ability to travel overnight as required.
- Knowledge of software development in
C. - Experience working with embedded systems.
- Experience with the Atlassian toolset (Jira and Confluence).
- Experience in QA or configuration management.
- Salary range: 107,500
USD – 204,500
