We are representing our client, a reputable family-run independent garage in Middlewich, Cheshire, in the recruitment for a Vehicle Technician.

The Vehicle Technician role offers a combination of technical challenges and career progression, ideal for experienced individuals looking to join a dedicated team.

  • Basic salary of approximately £40,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday working pattern with no weekends
  • Early finish on Fridays at 2:00pm
  • Christmas shutdown period

  • Supportive team environment with opportunities to mentor and coach colleagues Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Diagnosing complex vehicle faults across various systems, including legacy and electric vehicles
  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance to the highest standards
  • Managing work flow efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Utilizing advanced video vehicle health assessments for precise diagnostics and upselling
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work bay in adherence to health and safety standards
  • Upkeeping accurate communication with customers on work progress
  • Performing MOTs in line with DVSA standards (if required)
  • Participating in ongoing training to stay current with industry advancements Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, with a track record of diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles
  • Qualification to at least Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Strong communication skills and professional attitude
