Assistant Teacher

The Assistant Caregiver supports the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom using Montessori-inspired principles. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow, feel valued, and help shape a program that will serve families for years to come.

• Support daily classroom activities, routines, and learning experiences
• Help prepare and maintain engaging classroom materials
• Support children during transitions, meals, rest, and play
• Assist with classroom documentation and records
• Maintain health, safety, and licensing standards
• Participate in drills, special events, and school-wide activities

• Be part of a founding team shaping a new center and its culture

• Experience in childcare or early learning preferred
• Montessori Certification, CDA, or Bachelor’s Degree (one preferred)
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn

• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. and actively supervise children
• Ability to stand, walk, and engage for extended periods
