This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Estimator/Project Manager located in Midland, MI. The individual in this role will be responsible for managing construction project estimation, developing accurate cost assessments, preparing budgets, and providing comprehensive cost management. Additional responsibilities will include overseeing the coordination, planning, and successful execution of construction projects while maintaining strong communication with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Construction Estimating and Project Estimation
- Skills in Budgeting and Cost Management Strong Communication skills with the ability to coordinate with teams and stakeholders effectively
- Knowledge of industrial and commercial construction processes and practices is advantageous
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet project deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred
- Experience with construction project software tools is a plus
- Proven ability to ensure project safety and quality standards
- 5+ years experience in construction
- Capable of reading plot plans and foundation plans
- proficient computer skills-Microsoft office, adobe, customer portals
- Record of reliability and accountability
- Self motivated and directed
- Works well in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills
- Manage and participate in estimating efforts and bid solicitation
- Prepare project quotes and scope of work outlines
- Coordinating with customers, Architect/Engineers, city officials
- Monitor project progress, scheduling, budgets, and offer support to field staff
- Perform PM responsibilities on multiple projects concurrently
- Daily communication with field personnel and subcontractors
- Ensure projects are consistently meeting and exceeding profitability and quality marks
- Ensure job processes are followed in accordance with company policy and procedures
- Proactively monitor progress of projects through updated schedules, reports, and cost analysis
