Essential Duties and Responsibilities *

Serve as designated Hole Watch / Safety Watch for confined space work
* Monitor workers entering and exiting confined spaces
* Maintain constant visual and/or verbal communication with confined space entrants
* Ensure confined space permits and safety requirements are followed
* Watch for unsafe conditions, hazards, or changes in the environment
* Prevent unauthorized entry into confined spaces
* Immediately alert supervision or emergency response if an unsafe situation occurs
* Remain attentive and on post for the duration of confined space work
* Follow all site-specific safety rules, OSHA requirements, and company policies

Required Qualifications
* Entry-level position - no prior confined space experience required
* Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
* Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods
* Good communication skills
* Ability to follow safety procedures precisely
* Reliable transportation to job site
* Ability to work 7 days a week, including weekends
* Must be able to pass a drug screen
* Must be able to pass a background check
* Must comply with all plant and client safety requirements
