Project Architect

A vibrant, Michigan engineering firm is seeking a Project Architect for their Midland area office! Responsibilities include consulting with clients to determine requirements for new structures or renovation, coordinating/attending meetings with clients, consultants, planning officials, building officials and/or health/safety/law officials, preparing contract documents, conducting periodic on-site observation to monitor compliance with plans, producing high quality work, ensuring all work is reviewed by a registered architect, managing multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with team members at all levels of design phases, attending client meetings, possibly face-to-face, and traveling to clients and construction sites.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, 5+ years of experience in related experience in commercial, medical and/or institutional projects, an Architecture License preferred, knowledge of contract administration/office procedures, knowledge of basic building systems (architectural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, structural), experience generating construction documents in AutoCAD/Revit, experience with 3D modeling, presentation and design software (Photoshop, Bluebeam, Enscape, 3D Studio, Sketch Up), and mathematical skills.
