Available instructors must be able to teach in traditional classroom settings.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities- Understand and work with a diverse student population
- Use email, internet-based resources, and common Office software
- Teach in a variety of formats, including incorporating online learning systems
- Understand ADA requirements and create accessible materials
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills
- Master’s degree in a specific discipline or closely related field with at least 18 hours of successful graduate level coursework in the specific discipline
- Ability to teach on a Delta campus
- Teaching experience at the community college level
- Recent experience teaching the specific discipline in an active learning environment
