Job Summary - Special Education, 1:1 Support

The Special Education Paraprofessional works one-on-one with students receiving special education support.

Assignment Information

* Part-Time

* Up to 29 Hours/Week

* Monday - Friday (when instruction is in session)
* $15.50/Hour - Starting wage is based on the current Midland Federation of Paraprofessionals Master Bargaining Agreement

Qualifications and Education

* REQUIRED:

High school diploma or equivalent

* REQUIRED:

Highly Qualified (HQ) Status

* Completed minimum of 60 college credits

- * Hold an Associate's Degree or higher
-or
- * ETS Para Pro Assessment Qualifying score of 460+. The ETS Para Pro Assessment is a general aptitude test used to assess the skills and knowledge of prospective and practicing paraprofessionals in areas like reading, writing, and math, according to ETS.

* PREFERRED: CPR/First Aid certified (willing to be provided training)
