Job Title
Midland Public Schools has multiple openings for substitute paraprofessional support. Substitute Paraprofessionals are contacted on an as-needed basis to cover absences reported by regular hour paraprofessionals. The role of the substitute paraprofessional is to assist teachers with class work and/or assist with the daily care of students.
Qualifications and EducationRequired:
High school diploma or equivalent. Highly Qualified (HQ) Status. Completed minimum of 60 college credits

- Hold an Associate's Degree or higher
-or- ETS Para Pro Assessment Qualifying score of 460+. The ETS Para Pro Assessment is a general aptitude test used to assess the skills and knowledge of prospective and practicing paraprofessionals in areas like reading, writing, and math, according to ETS. Preferred: CPR/First Aid certified (willing to be provided training).
Able to sit, stand, bend, lift and walk frequently. As assignments may vary for job responsibilities, applicants must be able to assist students with physical needs that may be required.
