Learning And Development Consultant

Required qualifications:

  • 3-5 years direct experience consulting with subject matter experts to design and develop performance solutions (eg. training, job aids, work processes).
  • 2-4 years using eLearning and multimedia development software (Lectora Inspire, Articulate Storyline 360, Rise, Adobe Captivate).
  • Well versed in adult learning methodologies and able to evaluate learning effectiveness using instructional design assessment strategies.
  • Excellent writing, editing, critical reasoning, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong relationship skills and customer focus.
  • Results driven, project management, and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and concurrent deadlines.
  • 1+ years experience using or managing a CMS/ LMS (e.g. SABA) a strong plus.
  • Strong experience with branding and graphic design, including the use of the Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Ability to work effectively with virtual teams and accommodate time differences.
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment supporting global teams.
  • Knowledge of Agriculture and/or Manufacturing is helpful.

Responsibilities:

  • Create performance-focused training content that engages our learners in multiple modalities including ILT, VILT, eLearning, video, blended, games, quizzes, job aids, activities and more.
  • Analyze and translate business needs into measurable learning outcomes.
  • Engage in deep collaboration with instructional designers, content developers, subject matter experts, business leaders and stakeholders across multiple functions.
  • Use project management tools and skills to manage medium to large-scale global content development projects. Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and mitigate risks to eliminate potential roadblocks in the design, development and implementation of learning.
  • Design, build and deliver innovative training solutions using a variety of authoring tools.
  • Give and seek meaningful feedback to identify ways to improve the learning experience.
  • Assess the overall impact and effectiveness of deployed learning solutions.

Technical skills needed:

  • Experience developing scenario-based eLearning curriculums, storyboards, job aids, online tutorials, assessments, and print-based materials.
  • Must be capable of combining graphics, video, sound, and text to create a seamless, attractive user experience.
  • Skilled in the application of web-based authoring software (Articulate Storyline, RISE, Adobe Captivate, Lectora, HTML).
  • Experience in multimedia development in audio, video, and/or animation (e.g. Audition, Premiere, Vyond) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodology such as ADDIE, SAM, Action Mapping or similar.
  • Solid technical, organizational, project management skills, and information technology aptitude.

Work schedule:

Mon-Friday 8-5 1 hour lunch. Can work remote. Will conduct interviews via Zoom call. Pay rate range per hour: #####5-##### base on experience. Resumes must be attached. Looking to fill this role ASAP.
