Receives incoming emergency ambulance requests;
Dispatches ambulances to emergency and non-emergency situations;
Determines the need for police and/or fire-rescue assistance and contacts the appropriate law enforcement agency;
Maintains daily computer logs for both Gladwin and Midland EMS;
Coordinates Advanced Life Support (ALS) and helicopter intercepts and provides pre-arrival emergency medical directions
