Position: Temp - Registered Nurse (RN) - Electrophysiology Lab (EP) (Days) Midland MI
This position cares for patients before, during and after angiography, interventional, angiographic cardiac catheterization procedures. This includes pre-procedure assessment, pre-medication, documentation of cath process, post-cath care, patient education. Scrubs in for procedures and assists other members of the cardiac catheterization laboratory.

Responsibilities

(35%)*Performs nursing care of the catheterization/angiography patient.

(35%)* Operates equipment, i.e., cardiac output, hemodynamic, pacemakers/ICDs, intraaortic balloon pump, etc. Transfers patients, stocks supplies and performs basic office procedures.

(15%)*Scrubs in for procedures with the physician.

(15%)* Records all pertinent information on appropriate data sheets.

Requirement description :

• 2+ years of Experience - Required
• BLS & ACLS (AHA)
  - Required
• Epic Experience - Preferred
• ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION (Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer / Please obtain this information prior to submittal / Requests after offer can be cause for rescinded offer)
