Travel Radiology Technologist - X-Ray

American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist with 1+ years of experience for a Days shift assignment at a Level II trauma center.

• Minimum 1 year of X-ray experience required
• Active ARRT certification required
• Active BLS certification (AHA) required
• 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required
• Current skills checklist (within 1 year) pertinent to specialty required
• License required if applicable

• Diagnostic Radiology unit within a Level II trauma center
• Monday through Friday day shift, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• 13-week assignment with a 40-hour guarantee and no holiday coverage
• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures using accurate application of ionizing radiation for diagnosis
• Position patients and equipment to accurately demonstrate the area being examined, requiring strong anatomic positioning skills
• Provide appropriate radiation protection for patients and staff per safety standards
• Adjust technical factors using independent judgment and knowledge of anatomy, disease effects, and radiologic equipment operation
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates will not be considered
• Maximum of 5 days RTO may be requested during the assignment
