About you and this role

In thisroleyou are part of Team Inbound.

You provideadministrativesupportforthe outplant activities (scope: 3rd party logistics service providers, contract manufacturers, external manufacturers) related to Inbound,Inventory and Returns.

The activities consist of Inbound flow, Inventory management and Return flows.

This rolehas a goal tofacilitatethe Outbound Readiness, enabling the Outbound team to deliver an elevated customer focus.

This role ensuresaccurateadministration,timely follow-up on requests, and smooth execution of operational processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily monitoring and coordination support for material movement activities within SAP ECC for outplants.
  • Act as a safety net for the Business Supply Chain by ensuring material availability and addressing issues proactively.
  • Offer ad‑hoc support to the logistics organization and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve processes.
  • Record all relevant transactions in SAP ECC based on activities executed and reported by outplants.
  • Monitor inbounds, inventories, and returns, working with 3PL partners to resolve backlogs or gather required information. Conduct Inventory Accuracy assessments by comparing outplant system data with Dow ECC, identifying mismatches and performing root‑cause checks.
  • Execute Cycle Count activities as per process requirements. Monitor ECC workflows for EDI‑connected sites related to inbound and inventory flows.
  • Follow up on any reported damages or losses across inbound and inventory processes. Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation of best practices.

Qualifications

  • Technical or Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably in the chemical or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Power BI, and SAP ECC.
  • Ability to interpret and manage data effectively. Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Clear and effective communication skills.

Your Skills

  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and utilize reporting tools.
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing, terminal operations, external manufacturing activities, and packing processes.
