Job Summary:

The Procurement Analyst will serve as a critical analytical partner within the Supply Chain & Procurement organization, translating procurement data, market information, supplier inputs, and raw material cost drivers into actionable insights. This role will support data-driven decision-making across spend analytics, sourcing pipeline management, raw material cost evaluation, and spend forecasting to improve cost visibility, strengthen sourcing execution, and enable proactive procurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Spend analytics:
    Collect, cleanse, classify, and analyze procurement spend data across categories, suppliers, sites, and business units to identify trends, savings opportunities, consolidation opportunities, and compliance gaps.
  • Sourcing pipeline management:
    Maintain and improve the sourcing project pipeline, track initiative status, savings forecasts, timing, owners, risks, and execution milestones, and provide regular updates to procurement leadership.
  • Raw material cost evaluation:
    Analyze raw material price movements, commodity trends, supplier cost inputs, index-based pricing mechanisms, and should-cost assumptions to support negotiations and sourcing decisions.
  • Spend forecasting:
    Develop and maintain spend forecasts based on historical purchasing activity, demand assumptions, pricing trends, supplier inputs, and business outlooks.
  • Build reports, dashboards, and recurring procurement scorecards that provide clear visibility to spend, savings, market trends, supplier performance, and sourcing activity.
  • Partner with category managers, sourcing leads, finance, operations, planning, and business stakeholders to validate data, interpret results, and convert analysis into procurement actions.
  • Support RFQ, RFP, and sourcing event analysis by preparing bid comparisons, pricing models, scenario analyses, supplier summaries, and recommendation materials.
  • Track savings, cost avoidance, inflation impacts, and forecast accuracy using consistent assumptions and documented methodologies.
  • Monitor supplier pricing, contract terms, renewal dates, volume commitments, and commercial risk factors that may affect procurement cost performance.
  • Identify process improvements in reporting, data quality, sourcing pipeline governance, and procurement analytics tools.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, finance, analytics, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets, identify patterns, validate assumptions, and communicate insights clearly.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data modeling, and scenario analysis.
  • Experience with ERP, procure-to-pay, sourcing, spend analytics, or business intelligence tools;
    Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar tools preferred.
  • Understanding of procurement fundamentals, including spend categories, supplier management, sourcing events, contracts, pricing, and savings tracking.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience analyzing raw materials, chemicals, commodities, packaging, logistics, manufacturing inputs, or other direct material categories.
  • Familiarity with commodity indexes, cost drivers, supplier price adjustment mechanisms, and should-cost modeling.
  • Experience supporting sourcing pipeline governance, savings reporting, budget planning, or spend forecasting.
  • Exposure to manufacturing, industrial, chemical, polymer additives, or specialty materials environments.
  • Professional certification or coursework in procurement, supply chain, analytics, finance, or project management.
