Scope of work:
Join Burt Watson Automotive as our Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing Manager! Level and title will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience. This position will lead marketing strategy and brand image across all four of our dealership locations. You will build and execute campaigns that drive measurable lead generation, strengthen our digital presence, and grow our brand in every market we serve.
This role will work closely with store leadership and outside marketing vendors to turn strategy into results, while making sure every location delivers a consistent, on brand customer experience.
Work Schedule:
Dealership Hours are 8:30 am-7:00 pm
- Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am-6:00 pm Fridays. Saturday hours are 8:00 am-3:00 pm with schedule being every other Saturday. Position is scheduled 42-50 hours per week, or as dealership volume and needs dictate.
Compensation: $65,000- $90,000 annually, commiserate with experience.
Responsibilities:- Lead Burt Watson Automotive's overall marketing strategy across all four locations, tailored to each store's inventory and local market
- Partner with store leadership and sales teams to align marketing initiatives with inventory needs and sales goals
- Set and enforce brand standards and advertising compliance across all marketing and social content
- Bring new ideas to the table and continually push the marketing function forward
- Manage relationships with outside marketing agencies and vendors, including paid search, creative, and reporting partners
- Coordinate with vendors on campaign planning, creative direction, deadlines, and performance reporting
- Review vendor invoices and marketing spend to identify opportunities to eliminate ineffective spend
- Oversee third-party listing platforms such as Auto Trader, , Car Gurus, and Facebook Marketplace, and evaluate the return on each
- Own the dealership group's digital footprint, including website content, Google Business Profiles, and social media across all locations
- Build and maintain a content calendar across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok
- Work with dealership teams to gather photos, videos, and testimonials that highlight inventory, events, and culture
- Manage CRM re-engagement campaigns to convert past customers and unworked leads
- Coordinate dealership participation in community events, sponsor ships, and local partnerships
- Represent Burt Watson Automotive at community events and build relationships with local organizations
- Manage event logistics with store managers, including staffing, vehicles, and materials
- Track and report on monthly marketing performance across all locations
- Monitor KPIs such as lead volume, cost per lead, website traffic, and engagement
- Use performance data to guide budget decisions and campaign adjustments
- 3+ years of marketing experience required; 5+ years, including multi-location or automotive retail experience, preferred for consideration at the Senior Marketing Manager level
- Proven track record of driving measurable lead generation results
- Experience managing outside vendors and agencies, including reviewing performance and holding partners accountable
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with dashboards and performance data
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across dealership managers, vendors, and team members
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a multi-location group
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Prior automotive marketing experience, including digital, social media, email, and promotional campaigns that drive vehicle sales
- Experience with Meta retargeting and Facebook Marketplace campaigns
- Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 and Google Business Profiles
- Understanding of dealership website merchandising and conversion optimization
- Event planning or community relations experience
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
