American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical ICU night position in Michigan, requiring a Michigan RN license and open heart training.
Responsibilities- Position is in a Medical Surgical ICU setting
- Care for critically ill adult patients pre and post-operatively
- 12-hour night shifts from 6:42 PM to 7:12 AM
- Three weekend shifts required per four-week schedule (Friday and Saturday)
- No on-call responsibilities
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans
- Assess and coordinate care for patients and families with complex physical and psychosocial needs
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Maximum of 5 days of requested time off will be considered
- Local travelers are permitted but may only complete one travel assignment
- Active Michigan RN license required
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years SICU experience required
- Open heart training required
- Recent ICU skills checklist and two supervisory references from the last two years required
Permanent address must be outside a 50-mile radius from the facility - Epic EMR experience preferred
