Are you a dedicated Med Surg nurse with a passion for oncology care? Do you excel in dynamic environments where you can make a significant impact on patients' lives? Our healthcare partner is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join their medical oncology unit. This is your chance to work with patients diagnosed with cancer, medical step-down patients, and general medical overflow, providing comprehensive care and support.

As a valued member of the team, you will play a crucial role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. Your expertise in the pathophysiology of cancer will be essential as you collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

• Regularly assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician's authorized plan of care.
• Deliver direct patient care, including nursing assessment, medication administration, treatments, and responding to patient needs.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and collaborate with team members to update and revise care strategies.
• Process physician/provider orders accurately and timely, ensuring all care is delivered as prescribed.
• Follow up on medication changes and order clarifications to maintain optimal patient care.
• Need 2 years experience in setting
• Oncology experience required
• Comfortable taking step-down patients
• Prior travel work history highly preferred
• Epic EMR experience highly preferred
• Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Active Michigan/MILicense required
