Nurse – Observation
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:
- 2+ years of Observation Experience
- Epic EMR Experience (Preferred)
- Active American Heart Association BLS
- Active Michigan License (LARA and/or Nursys)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Regularly assess patients' needs and provide skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician's plan of care and accepted standards of nursing practice.
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and assistance with transfers.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and participate in updating/revising in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Process physician/provider orders and perform ordered care accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow up regarding medication changes and order clarifications.
Compliance / Notes:
Every Other Weekend availability required.
