Grocery Clerk

Role summary

Food and Consumable associates focus on taking care of customers and creative merchandising. They move incoming merchandise out to the salesfloor and create seasonal display features to meet the needs of the customer.

Shift may start between 8:00am - 11:00am or 1:00pm - 4:00pm.

Provide front-line customer service across deli, bakery, and dry grocery departments while maintaining high product quality and store presentation.

• Assist customers in ordering cakes, fulfilling deli orders, or finding the right produce.
• Pack ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays.
• Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food.
• Perform detailed cleaning of shelves and departments, checking temperature control, verifying dates, and disposing of lower-quality food.
• Keep the area clean, sanitized, and customer-ready.

Compensation ranges from $14.00 to $27.00 per hour depending on location and experience, plus performance-based incentives and possible premiums.
