We offer competitive pay and benefits. We are seeking an entry level Carpenter Apprentice, those interested in a hands-on, fast-paced shop environment, learning the trade, to become an integral part of our team for our Commercial and Industrial Casework shop located in Midland, Michigan.

Qualifications:

* At least 18 years of age

* Completion of Pre-Employment Background Check, Drug Screen and Physical, Strength Assessment, and Safety Training for Construction Trade

* Minimal travel required within Michigan .

Education and/or

Experience:

* High School Degree or Equivalent

* Previous trades training is a plus but not required. CNC machine experience is a plus but not required.

Physical Demands:

* Prolonged standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling

* Crouch, crawl, stoop rarely

* The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

* Use of sharp tools and power equipment in working conditions where there is possibility for slip and fall

* Subject to variable weather conditions inside and outside of building

* Manual Dexterity

* Good hand-eye coordination

* Good sense of balance

Work Environment:

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration

* The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of weather conditions

* Must use safety equipment (PPE) where warranted. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud
