PIRTEK, the nation’s leading provider for on-site hydraulic and industrial hose replacement, is hiring a Hose Installation Mechanic. The role involves servicing, assembling, and installing hoses for a diverse customer base—including manufacturing, construction, and rental companies—while operating a purpose‑built mobile hose workshop/van and making service calls in the local area. A strong customer‑service mindset, outstanding mechanical skills, and excellent communication are essential.
Responsibilities- Service, assemble, and install hoses for a diverse customer base
- Carry out service calls in the local area (Auburn Hills and vicinity)
- Maintain relationships with existing customers
- Develop new business and build relationships with new customers
- Be available for on‑call 24/7 one week out of four minimum
- High School Diploma or GED
- Mechanically inclined with hands‑on experience in auto repair, off‑road vehicle repair, or machinery repair
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and self‑motivated
- Sound organization and planning skills
- Clean driving record
- Competitive compensation: $21‑$28 per hour, plus overtime and monthly performance‑based bonus
