Position Profile
Weaver is looking for a Tax Supervisor with Energy experience to join our growing firm. A Weaver Supervisor provides federal tax compliance and planning services to Weaver’s Energy clients.
ResponsibilitiesA Weaver Supervisor is a team player who exhibits initiative, accepts responsibility, communicates effectively, and manages multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity. This individual assists and mentors less experienced teammates while delivering high quality federal tax compliance and planning services to Energy clients.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA or CPA candidate with 4+ years of public accounting experience, industry experience, or a combination of both
- Technical expertise in tax planning and execution for Energy clients
- Experience preparing federal tax returns
- Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff
- Strong relationship management and practice development skills
- Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients
