Position Profile

Weaver is looking for talented Tax professionals at the Supervisor level to join our growing firm. The ideal candidate will be a CPA or CPA candidate with 4+ years of public accounting experience in commercial tax.

The candidate should be a team player who exhibits initiative, accepts responsibility, communicates effectively, and manages multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity. As this role is provision-focused, the candidate should have a strong work ethic and be a self-starter.

Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality tax services.
  • Demonstrate initiative, assume responsibility, and communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a culture of accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery in a provisions-focused environment.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA candidate
  • 4+ years in public accounting
  • Knowledge of corporate tax
  • Experience preparing federal tax returns

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA license
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills
Compensation and Benefits

At Weaver, our most valuable resource is our people. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $95,000 to $143,000 in the California and New York Metropolitan areas. Actual compensation will be based on experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location. Weaver offers competitive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance) and a 401(k) plan. We also support our employees with flexible scheduled time off (STO), a minimum of 56 hours of sick and safe leave, 11 holidays, and 2 recharge days.
