Responsibilities:

• 1. Overseeing and managing all aspects of our accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• 2. Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
• 3. Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements.
• 4. Coordinating the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• 5. Researching technical accounting issues for compliance.
• 6. Supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
• 7. Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• 8. Managing and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• 9. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• 10. Participating in ERP implementation projects, providing guidance and expertise on best practices and potential risks.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Controller position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or MBA is highly preferred.
• 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• 3. Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
• 4. In-depth experience in ERP implementation, manufacturing accounting, financials, fixed assets, annual budget, and financial statements.
• 5. High attention to detail and accuracy.
• 6. Ability to direct and supervise.
• 7. Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
• 8. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• 9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
