Education and Experience- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience preferred
The office clerk shall carry out all office related activities as assigned by the building principal.
Essential Functions- Basic typing
- Alphabetize and file
- Good telephone skills with the public
- Work in a cooperative manner with coworkers and teachers
- Maintain accurate attendance reports in a prompt manner
- Prepare accurate attendance reports in a prompt manner
- Check and verify student absences
- Keep all attendance information, verify and complete each year
- Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Cross train with secretary
- High school diploma or GED
- Have or be eligible for state certification
- Basic typing skills
- Basic computer skills
- Eye strain
- Standing
- Reaching above shoulders
- Kneeling
- Bending
- Moderate lifting, 15-44 lbs.
- Moderate carrying, 15-44 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Regular attendance required.
