Job Summary
The Operations Technician provides administrative, technical, and data support to the operations team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate operational data, supporting reporting activities, and assisting supervisors and management with day-to-day operational needs.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform data entry and maintenance across multiple systems, including SharePoint, Excel, Site View, Well View, TOW, Geoforce, eVIN, XSPOC, Ops Info, VWorks, Databasin, Oracle, PLEX, PASS, Power BI, HSE applications, and other operational tools.
  • Track and monitor production, workover, compression, maintenance, drilling, completion, and flowback data.
  • Prepare and submit partner reports as required.
  • Code and stamp invoices and field tickets.
  • Coordinate and order new lease and well signage as needed.
  • Maintain organized paper and electronic well files on site.
  • Create basic presentations for meetings as requested.
  • Take meeting notes and organize documentation for work groups, subcommittees, and focus groups.
  • Provide training support or technical assistance when needed.
  • Assist supervisors and management with special projects.
  • Provide backup support for other Operations Technicians as required.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
  • Prior oil and gas database experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Peloton products (Well View and Site View), Oracle, Databasin, TOW, and Spotfire is a plus.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including:
    • Excel
    • Word
    • Power Point
