Job Overview
DuPont's Advanced Mobility is recruiting for a Document Administrator located at the Michigan Operations (MiOps) manufacturing site in Midland, MI. The role is responsible for implementing and maintaining hardcopy and electronic Document Management Systems (DMS) and serving as the subject matter expert for Operating Discipline Management System elements relative to Document Management for the Midland Auto Plant.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, implement, and maintain hardcopy DMS library and ensure annual records retention is completed.
- Create necessary binders for a library using WebEDMS.
- Work on small and large DMS projects, configure, and provide status updates to plant and business stakeholders.
- Communicate DMS updates to personnel via MOC process.
- Link documentation into WebEDMS, set review dates, and define document ownership.
- Manage file size, duplicates, records retention, document location, securities, and other related tasks.
- Add and remove employees file‑share access as applicable.
- Provide training and coaching on the DMS to section owners and users.
- Provide document & records management input into a management system review.
- Conduct DMS checklists and participate in audits as appropriate.
- Work with the ODMS Coordinator to ensure conformance of ODMS elements.
- Own metrics tracking, monthly reporting, and communicate to leadership for management systems.
- Assist with onboarding process of new employees.
- Serve as a focal point for facilities management systems, including conference room scheduling.
- Organize building and/or team events, including supplies and scheduling meetings.
- Manage printer, work clothing, and workstation computer contacts.
- Maintain and create plant distribution lists.
- Track and conduct expense reporting.
- Maintain sign‑in boards, visitor logs, photo boards, and manage visitor pass approvals.
- Act as a payroll administrator using E‑time.
- A minimum of a high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent is required; an associate’s degree or higher is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years’ administrative/office support experience is required.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
- Ability to work legally in the United States; visa sponsorship/support is not available for this position.
