What You'll DoAs a Service Technician II, you'll inspect, maintain, and repair vehicles while ensuring every customer leaves with confidence in the safety and performance of their vehicle.
Tire Services- Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair passenger and light truck tires.
- Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation.
- Recommend tire replacement and maintenance based on vehicle condition.
- Perform TPMS service and understand wheel configurations, bolt patterns, valve stems, and tire specifications.
- Perform oil and filter changes.
- Inspect and top off vehicle fluids, including coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid, and power steering fluid.
- Perform coolant, brake, and transmission fluid exchanges.
- Replace air, cabin, and fuel filters.
- Complete comprehensive vehicle inspections and communicate findings.
- Perform light mechanical repairs and replacements, including:
- Brakes
- Suspension components
- Steering components
- Wiper blades
- Batteries
- Headlights and taillights
- Recognize dashboard warning indicators and identify potential maintenance concerns.
- Greet customers professionally and understand their service needs.
- Explain inspection findings and maintenance recommendations.
- Maintain accurate service documentation.
- Assist with inventory, receiving, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Automotive, tire, or mechanical experience preferred.
- Technical or vocational automotive training is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Familiarity with tire mounting, balancing, and repair equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
TI A Certification is not required will provide the training and support you need to earn your certification and continue advancing your career.
