Salary range: $90,000.00 - $ annually.
Responsibilities- Lead and direct technicians with daily assignments and responsibilities while maintaining a positive work environment. Performs timekeeping, payroll and performance management activities for technicians.
- Perform basic diagnostic tests based upon service request and notify Location Manager of complex issues.
- Receive units and works with customers to determine service work needed.
- Assist with assigning labor to quotes.
- Update customer during service work while striving to exceed expectations of quality and timeliness.
- Handle customer needs while maintaining positive relationships with customers.
- Technical support agent for customers.
- Generate service checklist for work orders to set guidelines for technicians.
- Provide coaching and guidance to ensure the job objectives and requirements are communicated efficiently.
- Ensure the timely processing of service orders.
- Review rental check in/out and repairs.
- Manage and lead a continuous improvement process.
- Promote safe work habits in the workplace by having weekly training using the FS Solutions Safety Program.
- Transport units to the applicable areas of the shop and customers.
- Review daily work routing assignments, complete assignments, and notify Location Manager when tasks are completed.
- Clean and perform basic inspections to confirm vehicle systems are operational on demo, rental and purchased vehicles.
- High School diploma or equivalent, Associates or technical degree preferred, Certification in Diesel Mechanic a plus.
- 2+ years’ experience in service environment, with proven track record of problem-solving skills, cost management, and high-performance team interaction.
- 2+ years’ experience in direct employee supervision.
- 2+ Years heavy equipment or truck repair.
- Ability to obtain a Forklift Certification and CDL.
- Ability to appropriately use measuring devices (dial indicator, voltmeter, pressure gauge).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
