Business Analyst – Process Documentation | $50 - $55/hr. | M-F 8AM – 5PM | Hybrid (Houston or Midland, TX)

What Matters Most:

  • Competitive Pay of $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
  • Schedule:

    Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Location:

    Houston, TX (77024) or Midland, TX (79705) – Some travel between sites may be required

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a skilled Business Analyst specializing in process documentation to support cross‑functional teams in capturing, formalizing, and maintaining business processes. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a structured approach to documenting workflows using Microsoft Visio, Teams, and SharePoint. This hybrid role will be based in Houston or Midland with occasional travel required.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teams to gather and document current‑state processes via interviews, workshops, and remote sessions
  • Produce clear and accurate flowcharts, process maps, and SOPs using Microsoft Visio
  • Organize and manage process documentation in SharePoint with version control and accessibility standards
  • Ensure compliance with established documentation formats and organizational standards
  • Partner with SMEs to validate documentation aligns with actual business practices

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field – or – equivalent experience (5+ years in a directly related role)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Business Analyst, Technical Writer, or Process Analyst capacity
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Teams, and Share Point
  • Excellent interviewing and communication skills to elicit information from subject matter experts
  • Strong attention to detail with a structured approach to documentation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with BPMN standards
  • Experience managing structured SharePoint libraries
  • Background in regulated or compliance‑heavy industries

Pay Transparency Statement:

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00 per hour, not including benefits, potential bonuses, or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. We also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.

The range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role, and hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
