We're looking for an Assistant Construction Project Manager who is ready to take the next step in their construction or restoration career. This position is designed as a development role, providing hands‑on training and mentorship with the goal of advancing into a full Project Manager position within 3–6 months.

What You’ll Do Project & Field Coordination
  • Assist Project Managers in overseeing residential and commercial restoration and reconstruction projects
  • Conduct regular job‑site visits to monitor quality, progress, safety, and subcontractor performance
  • Help coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
  • Support project scheduling and daily production activities
  • Assist with job scoping and identifying necessary repairs
  • Ensure job sites remain safe, organized, and OSHA‑compliant
Documentation & Estimating
  • Capture job‑site photos, documentation, and 3D scans when applicable
  • Assist in preparing estimates using Xactimate and other estimating tools
  • Maintain project files, job logs, permits, certificates of insurance, and close‑out documentation
  • Support project costing and budget tracking
Customer & Insurance Communication
  • Communicate regularly with homeowners, tenants, adjusters, and stakeholders
  • Help guide customers through the restoration and reconstruction process
  • Address questions, provide updates, and assist with issue resolution
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle
Administrative & Project Support
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating subcontractors
  • Support billing, supplements, and final invoicing
  • Participate in project meetings and team training
  • Perform quality assurance inspections and final walk‑throughs
  • Assist with project completion, approvals, and collections
What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–2 years of construction, restoration, or related field experience
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and property damage
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to learn estimating software such as Xactimate
  • Ability to work flexible schedules when project needs require
Preferred Qualifications
  • Restoration, reconstruction, superintendent, or field leadership experience
  • IICRC certifications or willingness to obtain
  • Xactimate experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Work Environment

This position requires regular travel to residential and commercial job sites. Candidates must be comfortable working in active construction zones, damaged structures, and varying weather conditions while utilizing required safety equipment and PPE.
