Role Description

This is a role for a Bilingual Safety Representative in the Carlsbad, New Mexico area. The Bilingual Safety Representative will be responsible for conducting safety inspections, providing training on safety protocols, communicating safety procedures effectively, and ensuring compliance with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards.

Qualifications
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • Minimum 2+ years of safety experience in pipeline, oil & gas, or heavy construction
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Inspection
  • Strong communication and training skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare safety protocols
  • Certification in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or related field. (preferred)
  • Travel may necessary between operating states which include OK, TX, NM.
  • Conduct hazard identification, inspections, audits and observations on the job site.
  • Verifies compliance with local, state and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Monitors field compliance with company policies, procedures and work instructions while documenting occurrences of non‐compliance.
  • Develop, host, lead and conduct Job Safety Analysis.
  • Ensures required HSE reporting is completed timely and accurately.
  • Participates in detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Conducts company HSE orientations and training.
  • Provides support for company and employee compliance with customer operator qualifications programs.
  • Ensures adequate supplies of HSE related equipment are available and verify all required personal protective equipment is dawned by employees.
  • Manage master one call list (811) and one call process for assigned crews.
  • Prepare and manage various jobsite reports.
  • Oversee compliance related activities for multiple assigned crews.
  • Work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Promotes and encourages the use of Stop Work Authority (SWA).
