Bandera High School is seeking a Spanish Teacher for the 2025-26 school year and beyond.

Bandera ISD is a 4-Day Instructional Week District (Mon.

-Thurs.).

Start Date:

Immediate

Responsibilities:

Position is responsible for teaching high school level Spanish courses.

Grades: 9th - 12th

Actual Assignment/Grade Level will be determined based on applicants experience and skill sets

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
  • Texas Teaching License and appropriate endorsements for the grade levels and subjects taught
  • ESL Certification (Highly Preferred)
Additional Information:
  • Team planning with colleagues to ensure high quality instruction and assessment
  • Develop, modify and prepare curricula to ensure high quality instruction based upon student abilities and skill levels
  • Provide classroom instruction to whole groups, small groups, and individuals
  • Demonstrate the effective use of technology to enhance instruction and support student interest and growth
  • Design assessment tasks that allow students to demonstrate understanding in a variety of ways.
  • Collect and analyze student data to drive instruction
  • Collaborate with students, parents, and other members of staff, and provide meaningful feedback
  • Communicate necessary information and student progress regularly to students, colleagues, and parents
  • Work cohesively with the campus staff in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • Work cooperatively with Special Education teachers to modify curricula, and instruct and assess Special Education students in the regular classroom
  • Participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)
  • Participate in staff development activities and improve job-related skills
